Ready for Launch
The OneWorld website hadn’t been updated in many years. Not only was it extremely cumbersome to update, the content itself was more thrown together than thought out. Not responsive, not accessible, not user-friendly.
The design process we went through set out to solve all of these issues while at the same time evolving the brand — fine tuning brand assets, creating new assets, assigning a type family, establishing consistent primary and secondary colors, and determining photography styles. The content itself was taken from the marketing team and worked into site structure so everything felt intentional, intuitive, and connected to related content elsewhere on the site.
This project never launched because the internal design team, who, for some reason, hadn’t been involved at all, showed up during the final phase of the QA phase, didn’t like the design, painfully tried to change a bunch of stuff that was already built, and then decided to just redo things themselves.
