On April 11, 2019, Samuel Celestin suffered a severe crisis at his home. He became disoriented and unaware of his surroundings. His mother and sister called 911 for assistance in getting Samuel transported to a mental health facility. Samuel’s mental health was disregarded by police.

In June of 2015, an innocent Keith Davis Jr. was cornered by police in a West Baltimore garage where they shot at him 44 times, striking him 3 times: once in the face, the back, and the arm. Although Keith Davis Jr. miraculously survived, he's endured several trials, no lasting convictions and years of incarceration.

No-Knock Raids have terrorized our communities for too long. Campaign Zero has had a hand in shaping legislation at the state and city level since November 2020. 20 cities and 28 states currently meet at least one of the 15 proposed criteria.
