Heartbeat bill? Give me a break.

My written comment against LB626:

This bill isn’t about a heartbeat. Because we all know it’s not a heartbeat you hear. This bill is about an extremist minority flexing its anti-democratic power to ruin lives. This bill is anti-freedom, anti-woman, anti-community, anti-healthcare. It’'s a ridiculous display of religion. This isn’t conservatism in any way. Fanaticism by a few, out of touch Nebraskans who are making a mockery out of the label Pro-Life. NO BANS, EVER.

Wakanda Forever

Project launch for Campaign Zero:

We recognize that what’s past is prologue and invite you to meditate on the people, places, and moments of yesterday that have shaped who we are today. We are all confronted daily, with the beauty and terror of the world we live in. Here, we reconcile both the extreme and the nuance of our reality to prepare ourselves for the path forward. We have gathered what we know of the past, how we understand the present and now we are ready to build a story for the future. In your wildest dreams, who can we be?

Can you recycle it?

New project launch for the City of Omaha:

The Omaha Recycling Guide is designed to help residents in the City of Omaha understand what items are accepted in our curbside and drop-off recycling program. By recycling the right items in the right way, you help improve the overall quality of our City’s recycled materials. Recycling right also prevents damage to equipment, is safer for workers who handle the materials, and keeps contamination out.

Campaign Zero

The new brand and website for Campaign Zero:

Birthed from the protests in Ferguson, Baltimore, and a host of other cities over cases of civilians killed by police, Campaign Zero was launched in August 2015 as a research-based platform to move to an understanding of public safety beyond policing. Since its inception, Campaign Zero has designed and launched research and advocacy projects that have defined their respective field and there are more to come.
