I got all mic’d up. Off to the side of the stage, readying myself as the speaker in front of me finished. Applause. Introduction. Applause. Walk out, begin. Just talk. And click. And then, it was over. It really did seem like a blur. Over in a flash. I said what I wanted to say. It’s out there. The actual video available soon. But for now, it’s finished. This long, daunting, stressful, intense, rewarding journey complete. I’m glad I had the opportunity. And now I’m glad I can move on.

TEDx Omaha is finally here. It’s been a massive amount of work. Definitely looking forward to no longer practicing and the words not taking up mind space. The process has been challenging which has allowed for growth in a few areas. End of the day, I’m just hoping to deliver it how it needs to be delivered.
Time will tell.
Design does not resort to violence. And it does not call others names. It can be seen as an attack and that’s fine. It certainly picks a side. Design is not neutral. Buy, sell, share, signup, donate, march, protest, demand justice.
Over-confident ra-ra bullshit slogans and motivational trite platitudes are things I'm really done with in the design industry. Talk real for a change or move yourself to the self help section as you seem no longer concerned with doing the work in our present day economy.
This question came to me by-the-by a couple years ago. I think about it often. My answer is NO, not at all, especially in America. And I don’t want to go into more than that.
To all the overly expensive Democratic consultants out there who do the direct mail, here’s a tip for you. It’s real simple. It’ll help you greatly, you clearly aren’t skilled enough to venture too far out, just do this and you're golden:
