The Bold Alliance is a network of “small and mighty” groups in rural states working to protect land and water. We fight fossil fuel projects, protect landowners against eminent domain abuse, and work for clean energy solutions while building an engaged base of citizens who care about the land, water, and climate change.
Over-confident ra-ra bullshit slogans and motivational trite platitudes are things I'm really done with in the design industry. Talk real for a change or move yourself to the self help section as you seem no longer concerned with doing the work in our present day economy.
In the age of information overload, maybe it’s not such a good idea to also have content overload. Like, it should be your job to help get what’s important to your audience, not bombard them with everything.
Direct correlation between how long a designer works with you and how fun the work is. How engaging, exciting, challenging, invigorating, fun.
Knowing how to utilize your Worry is key. To hell with all these self-help, motivational types who say you shouldn’t. Straight optimism is reckless in our world. Worry can be a weapon, use it.
And just like that, another year down. Justin Kemerling Design Co is now 12 years old. After documenting the first decade with In the Middle of Everything, I’m now 2 years into the second. And goodness have these last 2 years been full. I can confidently say my second book documenting this career is off to a good start. Let’s keep it going, yeah!
